Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  We hope that you have had a wonderful time celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior.  The past few days have been filled with spending time with family and friends, and we have had a great time.

To update you on what is taking place right now, our visas are still in the Assessment period.  This is a bit of a disappointment, because this part of the visa process was to be done when we turned in our paperwork back in August.  If you could pray that we can get through this Assessment and then afterward it moves to the approval of the Australian Immigration Department.  Please pray that the Lord would work out the bugs, and that this would move quickly.  All of our things are almost packed, and we are living out of suitcases, so we are really looking forward to receiving our visas.

Matthew 7:7 "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:"  Thank you so much for your prayers for us and for checking this site for our updates!

In Christ, Mark, Sara, Marshall, Meredith, and Lucy

Hello again!

We have had a very busy weekend. Friday, December 2, I was questioned by a council of 14 Pastors from our area. On Sunday, December 4, he was ordained by First Baptist Church of Danville, Illinois. It was a very special time for us. My parents and brother were able to be there. Sara's parents (who are from that church) and her grandmother were also there. Our church gave us a very nice reception after the evening service. Thanks for praying for me!

We also are happy to share with you that we are now at 100% of our support! We are so thankful to God for providing the support we needed.

For those who are wondering about our visas - we do not have them yet. Our lawyer is checking with immigration to see where they are. But we are praying that they arrive soon! In the meantime we are finishing packing our belongings and trying to get things sorted out.

Wishing to be down under soon - Mark, Sara, Marshall, Meredith, and Lucy!
