Dear Praying Friends,
It's February already! It seemed like just yesterday we celebrated New Years. Time is flying by. Speaking of time flying by, this month we will celebrate two years on the field. I can tell you that it sure does not feel like we have been here that long. We have learned so much in this short time and yet there is still so much more to learn about Australia and its culture. God has been so good to us in allowing us to serve Him here in Australia.
Now that the summer holidays have come to a close and school has started back, we are busy once again with Sunday School and Bible studies. This year we are starting a mid-week children's program to reach the kids in our community and to grow them in Christ. Please pray that God would bless this mid-week kid's club and that He would give Sara grace as she runs it.
God has brought many visitors in the month of January. Their stories of how they came across Grace Baptist Church are different from one another. One lady was driving to a doctor's appointment and felt she should go to church. She checked out the website of another church that started too early, then she viewed Grace's website and it was at the right time and location so she attended. Another visitor said she walks her dog near the school hall where we meet on Sundays. She noticed the church signs and decided she would visit. God is so amazing! Please pray that the Lord would work in the hearts of these visitors. Pray that we would see these visitors again and have an opportunity to speak with them more about their spiritual state.
God is at work here in Australia, and it is a privilege to be a part of it. We would not have that privilege without your support, thank you. Thank you for taking the time to read this ministry update. May God bless you.
