"Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift." (2 Cor. 9:15) This verse sums up the month of November and the coming month of December. We celebrated Thanksgiving last month, giving praise to the Lord for all He is and all He's blessed us with. The greatest of which we celebrate this month, the giving of an indescribable gift, Jesus Christ. It was wonderful being in the States to celebrate Thanksgiving and we are all looking forward to Christmas.
Last month we had the privilege to share the ministry of Australia with six churches. We traveled in Wisconsin, Indiana, and our own state of Illinois. At the end of the month we had the blessing of being able to fly to Montana to visit my parents. We celebrated Thanksgiving with them and a few other relatives that I hadn't seen for years.
While in Montana the kids were able to see their first snow of the year. They were sooo excited! I haven't been hit by so many snowballs in all my life. It was so much fun! Montana is a beautiful state. We walked many trails and took many pictures. After hiking one trail we were told that three bears had been spotted there on that same weekend!!! I guess that's life in Montana.
This month is a bit slower with only two meetings on the schedule. Please keep praying for the church in Australia, Grace Baptist, and those that are filling in for us, Don and Lola Winans. Thank you for your prayers for us and for taking that time to read this update.
In Christ,
Mark Pitts and Family
So thankful for those who support the ministry to Australia.
A nice family shot next to an ice cold Montana stream.
Rattlesnake Trail, home of three bears apparently. Marshall's ready for 'em!
The kid's first snowman.
It was great seeing my Dad and Mom for Thanksgiving.
